Namaste and thank you very much for the question! मैं अच्छा हूँ main acchaa hoon, और आप? aur aap? So we have the sentence…

                             हम ठीक हैं  ham theek hain 

So what does it mean? Well you’ll be glad to know it’s actually really straight forward and easy, so let’s break it down word by word!

Firstly we have the word हम ham - This means ‘We’, as we learnt in Lesson #15. Then we have ठीक theek - This means ‘ok’, ‘good’, ‘fine’ etc and we saw this in Lesson #17. Finally then we have the word हैं hain  - This means ‘are’ we saw it back in Lesson #22. Phew, ok! So let’s put that all together, we literally have ‘we ok are’, which means ‘We are ok’ or ‘We are fine’.
