Beginner’s Grammar Lessons

In these lesson we’re going to look at Basic Grammar rules in Hindi. This is perfect if you want to expand your knowledge and be able to make your own Hindi sentences. If you simply want to learn Conversational Phrases then head over to the  Conversational Hindi Section.

On this blog Grammar will be taught in an interesting, fun and laid back way. It won’t be like reading boring old Grammar books!

If you haven’t already, be sure to read An Intro to Hindi first. It would also be useful reading over the Vowels and Consonants sections too, this will help with your pronunciation!

Lessons on this page are grouped into 5 main section; Nouns and Pronouns, Adjectives, Verbs, Postpositions and Videos. Obviously there’s some overlap so don’t worry too much. Please feel free to ‘mix and match’ lessons to give some variety; so why not look at one or two lessons from Verbs then one from Adjectives and so on!

This page is quite long so please scroll right down to the bottom to make sure you don’t miss anything! Once you’ve covered everything here then head over to the Intermediate Grammar page for more advance lessons!
